Mechel’s Korshunovsky GOK says Jan–Sep ore output rises by 15%
MOSCOW, Oct 15 (PRIME) -- The ore production of the Korshunovsky GOK ore-dressing plant, part of metals producer Mechel, grew by 15% on the year to more than 5 million tonnes in January–September, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Both deposits of the company demonstrated growth -- Korshunovsky by 18%, Rudnogorsky by 13%.
Managing Director Mikhail Mazhukin said as cited in the statement that equipment upgrade allowed the company to raise effectiveness of mining and transportation.
